A student from the music academy of the University of Cyprus has received a double international distinction, it was announced on Thursday.
Tatiana Kotanidou was successfully admitted to the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, while she has also secured a place at the Royal College of Music in London.
“Two of the most historic and renowned worldwide music academies recognised her value through a demanding evaluation process which noticed her artistic value and prospects in the field of musical performances,” the university said.
Tatiana Kotanidou is a senior in the violin class of professor Wolfgang Schroeder at the Academy of Music of the University of Cyprus.
“With only five years of operation, the academy has already established itself internationally as a strong institution for young musicians.”
