Five hooded men robbed a bakery in Kamares on Monday morning, the second such attack in Larnaca in just over 24 hours.

The men stole the money by removing the portable part of the cash register, bagging €350.

They left the scene with a stolen rental car that was found by the police around 4am abandoned near Mackenzie beach.

On Saturday in Larnaca three hooded men stole €1,000 euros from a kiosk, verbally threatening the employee.

On Saturday, police said an 18-year-old Larnaca resident had been arrested, believed to be one of the three involved in the case.

Additionally, on Tuesday night two individuals who had their faces covered with a scarf, entered a kiosk in Livadia and stole €1,600.
