A 24-year-old man is set to appear in court on Tuesday after having been arrested as part of a police investigation into the supply of cannabis.

The man was stopped outside his home on Monday by police officers, who found a small quantity of cannabis and €960 in cash on his person.

A subsequent search of his home turned up two precision scales, 451.8 grams of cannabis, and 3.3 grams of cannabis resin.

The man was arrested and is expected to be brought before a court on Tuesday.

The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
