An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale occurred near Paphos on Tuesday morning.

According to the Euro-mediterranean seismological centre, the quake’s epicentre was 18 kilometres southeast of Paphos and 56km southwest of Limassol, at a depth of 13km.

The earthquake struck shortly after 7.17am.
