An unidentified man remained intubated in critical condition at the Limassol general hospital on Sunday morning, after falling from a height of about 4m.

Limassol CID are investigating the circumstances in which he fell and his identity.

According to police, at around 7.15 on Saturday evening they were informed that an ambulance had picked up an unidentified man from the coastal area of Ayios Tychonas who had many injuries likely due to his fall from a height.

After studying CCTV footage from the area, police established the man had lost his balance and fell from about 4m.
