The permanent criminal court on Tuesday sentenced two men to prison in Paphos after a large amount of drugs and money was found earlier this year.

The 29-year-old suspect was given a 10-year prison sentence, while the 30-year-old was sentenced to four years. Both were found guilty of being involved in the same case.

The case began on February 2024, when police discovered about 12 kilos of cannabis and 1 kilo of cocaine. Officers also found and seized around €75,000 in cash. The court said there was enough evidence to prove both men were linked to the drugs and the money.

Their sentencing followed a full trial. No other details about the men or how the drugs were found were made public.
