A car fire in Paphos during the early hours is being investigated by police on Wednesday.

Police said the car belonged to a 27-year-old man and the fire service responded to the incident at 2.40am.

The vehicle was parked in an open area and suffered extensive damage.

The case is under ongoing investigation.
