President Nikos Christodoulides will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina, for a working visit in Sarajevo in view of the Republic’s assumption of the presidency of the Council of the European Union, it was announced on Wednesday.

Christodoulides is set to travel on Thursday to meet President Željka Cvijanović and members of state of Bosnia and Herzegovina for extended talks.

In the afternoon, Christodoulides will travel to Tirana, Albania, to participate in the Summit of the European Political Community, an intergovernmental forum for political and strategic discussions about the future of Europe

During the summit, Christodoulides will participate in roundtable discussions and address participants on the topic “Open Europe with Secure Borders”.

On the sidelines of the summit, the president will have a bilateral meeting with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
