Three sculptures by Cypriot artists will be on permanent display at Larnaca’s newly launched Mesoyios (Mediterranean) artists’ park by the end of the year.

Katerina Stavrou and her work Vele al Vento, The Balloon by Andreas Kallis and Faces by Androulla Angelides Antoniadou were selected as the most outstanding works in a selection process of a special committee formed from the Larnaca municipality and the Larnaca tourism board.

The sculptures are set to be completed by the end of November but where they will be placed is yet to be decided and will be carried out in collaboration with the special committee.

Inaugurated just last year, the Mesoyios artists’ park in Larnaca is a recent addition to the area’s cultural landscape set in the coastal area of the Turkish Cypriot district of Skala.
