A fire broke out in the yard of a Larnaca high school at 2am on Friday morning with smoke affecting the building and causing damage to equipment.

“Two staffed fire engines from the Larnaca Fire Stations responded to a fire that was in a pile of various school equipment in a high school yard in Larnaca,” fire department spokesmen Andreas Kettis said in a post on X.

The causes of the fire are being investigated today.
