Young people from Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic have been participating in “From Do Nothing, to Do Something for Climate,” a project in Pervolia aiming to promote environmental awareness and sustainability running from May 29 to June 6.

A statement from Harmonia Youth Network, the organiser of the programme, reads that “through creative and non-formal educational activities, participants will develop knowledge and skills related to environmental protection, responsible resource use, and climate change.”

During the programme, participants recycled waste, attended workshops, and explored solutions to climate change.

“The impact of the project will be significant, as participants will gain valuable knowledge and experiences that will allow them to become active ambassadors of sustainability in their countries, ” the statement continues.

“At the same time, the creation of an international network will contribute to strengthening environmental initiatives and actions on a broader scale.”
