In 2025, a charitable organization was launched in Ukraine as a platform for implementing personal initiatives — a namesake foundation headed by Andrii Matiukha. Its activities focus on long-term social, educational, and medical programs, as well as international cooperation.
The Andrii Matiukha Foundation defines strategic support directions that cover not only responses to current challenges but also the long-term development of communities and infrastructure.
Partnership initiatives focused on the community
In May 2025, a cultural event took place — the opening of the installation “Origami for Ukraine.” It was displayed on the facade of the Kyiv History Museum. More than 5,000 paper birds were crafted by children from the Kyiv Youth Palace. The initiative aimed to raise funds for treating the wounded at the city rehabilitation center.

The installation was created as part of cooperation between Kyiv and Brussels. It will be on display for 90 days. Andrii Matiukha called this project an example of how art, medicine, and the community can unite in practical problem-solving.
Charity auction in support of children

Another event involving the foundation was a charity auction held at Kyiv’s Dynamo Stadium. Its goal was to raise funds for the construction of an inclusive sports field in Zhytomyr. The event was aimed at supporting orphaned children.
As part of the project, the foundation:
- organized the broadcast of the event;
- gathered items for sale;
- coordinated event logistics.
Among the lots were gear signed by Ukrainian athletes, including Oleksandr Usyk, Vitalii Klychko, and Andrii Shevchenko.
In his comment, Andrii Matiukha emphasized that the practical results of such initiatives are the creation of a safe space for children’s physical activity and social interaction.

Modern equipment for a children’s hospital
In February 2025, the foundation delivered a surgical system to the National Children’s Hospital “Okhmatdyt.” The equipment is used in complex operations, including neurosurgical, abdominal, and oncological procedures. The cost of the Thompson retractor is 2.22 million UAH.
Doctors noted that the system reduces surgeon fatigue, improves visibility of the surgical field, and increases the efficiency of interventions. Andrii Matiukha emphasized that the equipment has already helped conduct over 60 surgeries and will enable hundreds of operations annually.

Online platform for people with amputations
Another project is the portal “YE — PROTEZ.” The platform is designed for people who lost limbs due to the war. Its functionality includes consultations on prosthetics, psychological support, and access to rehabilitation.
Users can find:
- tips on choosing prosthetics;
- information about funding sources;
- rehabilitation routes;
- recommendations for inclusive engineering support.
The portal’s development was supported by Andrii Matiukha. The service is intended for both military personnel and civilians.
Areas of work and strategic vision of the Andrii Matiukha Foundation
The namesake foundation operates in five areas: support for veterans and their reintegration, development of local communities, renewal of medical services, humanitarian support for culture and education, and cooperation with international partners.
Andrii Matiukha defines the foundation’s mission as providing support during a difficult period, with the aim of creating long-term tools for rebuilding the country.
