Starting tomorrow and running until Sunday is the second edition of the Palestinian Independent Film Festival, again taking place in Limassol. Four feature films by Palestinian filmmakers from Gaza, the West Bank, and the 48 territories will be presented, all for free and subtitled in English.

Already in its second week is UCY’s Cultural Festival 2025 with two performances this Friday and Sunday. The extraordinary Polish cellist and composer Dobrawa Czocher, who has enticed audiences all over Europe with her inspired compositions, will perform on Friday, making her Cyprus debut at the Michalis Pieris Cultural Centre UCY. Joined by Agnieszka Podłucka (viola) and Natalia Czekała (synthesisers), they will present new compositions and pieces from Dobrawa.

On Sunday, the immersive musical and visual experience Blue Songs of Our Counterlife will dive into the depth and duality of human emotions. The concert will feature a series of interconnected original compositions, each brought to life through a dynamic visual counterpart created in collaboration with photographer and visual artist Maria Zopoglou.

For more live music this weekend, head to Limassol’s The Melting Pot concept where the local trio Nabu Pera will perform on Sunday night.
