Rain will be possible in the mountains on Tuesday afternoon, with the odd storm not ruled out.

Elsewhere, the skies will be largely clear, with temperatures set to rise to a maximum of 38 degrees Celsius inland, 32 degrees Celsius on the west and southwest coast, 34 degrees Celsius on the rest of the coasts, and 28 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

The skies will remain largely clear overnight, though low clouds will be observed in some areas, while localised light fog and mist is expected to form in the south and east of the island in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Temperatures are expected to drop to 23 degrees Celsius inland, 24 degrees Celsius on the coasts, and 19 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

Cloud cover is expected to increase on Wednesday, with the possibility of rain remaining in the mountains and extending into lower inland areas, while storms have not been ruled out.

Largely clear weather with the possibility of the odd rain shower or storm is the order of the rest of the week, with temperatures expected to remain largely stable until Friday.
