Aivitam Ventures announces that Startup World Cup Greece 2025 will take place on September 10, 2025 at the brand-new SuiHub Europe in the centre of Athens. For the first time, Greece will host the world’s largest startup competition, giving Greek founders the opportunity to compete for the $1,000,000 investment prize at the grand final in San Francisco.

The event will showcase 10 leading startups from such fields as artificial intelligence, financial technologies, education, health, retail and more. Each team will pitch their idea to experienced investors and industry leaders with the aim of securing a place on the international stage. Participants will gain access to top investors, strategic partners and extensive exposure.

Athens follows the success of the Startup World Cup Cyprus, where Calspak won the 2025 regional final and qualified to present in San Francisco. The competitions in Cyprus attracted more than 150 investors, founders and executives, establishing Southeast Europe as an emerging force in the global technology ecosystem. The Greek edition is expected to build on this momentum, bringing together more than 70 leading executives, founders and investors.

The evening will feature keynote speeches, live startup presentations and panel discussions with investors from Sui, Metavallon, Apeiron VC, Startup Greece and others. Attendees will also have access to dedicated networking areas in which to meet investors, corporate partners and members of the press.
