Parents and guardians of schoolchildren are responsible for picking them up ahead of Thursday’s general strike, the education ministry said on Wednesday.
Buses will not be running, so children using the services to get home will have to picked up at 11am, when the three-hour strike is set to start.
Students attending all-day schools will have to be brought back at 2pm to continue their lessons.
The education ministry also said school lunches will not be served on Thursday.
Community nursery schools are privately-owned and thus will follow instructions by their employers, the ministry added.
