Another success has been recorded for KEO and the Mallias Winery, this time at the highest level of competition. At the Berliner Wine Trophy 2025, the largest wine competition in the world held under the auspices of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), Mallias Winery was honoured with:

• Gold Medal for the Mallias Yannoudi 2021
• Gold Medal for the St John’s Commandaria 2017
• Silver Medal for Heritage (Maratheftiko) 2020

These distinctions are a major recognition of the winemaking work carried out at Mallias. The acknowledgement of the quality of KEO wines crowns the enduring dedication of the largest scientific team in the field of wine production in Cyprus.

The medals awarded to Mallias Winery in the competition demonstrate that indigenous Cypriot varieties impart a unique identity and character to our wines, enabling them to stand out among thousands of entries from across the globe.
