Where do you live and with whom?
I live in Nicosia with my wife, 13-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter.
What did you have for breakfast?
A glass of water and a cup of mint tea. I don’t tend to eat until lunchtime.
Describe your perfect day
An early rise, around 5am. Starting the day with some meditation and gentle yoga practice. Lazy morning. Followed by a picnic out in nature, in the middle of nowhere, preferably the mountains, with family and friends, surrounded by lots of trees. Finishing the day off with a music festival and dancing all night long.
Best book ever read?
Eastern Body, Western Mind by Anodea Judith. I think the timing of it was perfect. I had just completed my yoga teacher training, chakra based, so the book reinforced everything that I had been taught and had been practicing.
Best childhood memory?
Holidays with my folks and brother in Cyprus. It was always a home away from home. Spending time with our grandparents too and indulging in all our favourite traditional foods and sweets.
What is always in your fridge?
Kimchi. For its probiotic benefits and spicy kick.
What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
Nick Mulvey. Fever to the Form, being one of my all-time favourites.
What’s your spirit animal?
Dragonfly. Transformation and new beginnings have been the story of my recent life.
What are you most proud of?
Becoming a father. As life changes, it’s also a continuous life lesson.
What movie scene has really stayed with you?
The Matrix. Neo and the oracle ‘you didn’t come here to make a choice, you’ve already made it. You’re here to understand why you made it’. I was told to view The Matrix as a documentary, and it changed everything.
If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
Nikola Tesla, for conversation and insight into energy and 3:6:9.
If you could time travel when/where would you go?
Egypt, when the pyramids were being built. To see and understand firsthand how and who, as opposed to reading stories.
What is your greatest fear?
Tricky question, as I’ve been working on my fears for a number of years now. I would say losing those closest to me.
What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
Slow down, make time to sit and breathe, consciously. Life would have been very different.
Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone.
Probably my wife.
If the world is ending in 24 hours, what would you do?
I guess I would want to fulfil my senses, eat well, drink, dance, socialise. Create a positive distraction by throwing a big party.
