Alkis H. Hadjikyriacos (Frou-Frou Biscuits) Public Ltd posted a slight rise in first-half profit for 2025, with net earnings reaching €2 million compared with €1.95 million in the same period last year.

Turnover for the group rose by 3.11 per cent to €12.1 million, up €365,300 from a year earlier, according to results released on Friday.

Gross profit increased by €183,400 to €4.8 million, while operating profit climbed by €358,700.

Other income fell marginally by €13,600 to €799,300.

At its annual general meeting on May 29, the board approved a dividend of €1.6 million, drawn from 2023 and 2024 profits.

The payout, equal to a yield of 4.71 per cent based on an average closing share price of €0.34 at the end of December 2024, was distributed on July 4.
