A fire broke out overnight in two garden sheds in Ypsonas, Limassol, causing extensive damage to the buildings and their contents, which were mostly household equipment.

Fire service spokesman Andreas Kettis announced that the report came it at 1.42am on Monday and two fire engines were sent to put it out.

He said the fire service was investigating the cause of the fire.
