Three people were arrested on Sunday in the Morphou district for illegal residence and employment, in the framework of an operation to clamp down on illegal employment and undeclared work.
The police announced on Monday that four premises were searched during which three foreigners were found to be in Cyprus illegally.
The three employers are being investigated for illegally hiring the workers.
Furthermore, a total of four violations of the law were found and warnings were issued regarding undeclared work and a further three for paying wages below the minimum, failure to make employment contracts and not abiding with the wage protection provisions of the law.
