A fire broke out in a car in the Nicosia suburb of Strovolos late on Wednesday night, the police said on Thursday.

The fire broke out at around 11.50pm, with the car’s owner’s husband extinguishing it.

The police then conducted examinations at the scene, with further investigations into the matter expected in due course.

The fire damaged the car’s left-hand side and its rear lights.
