Romania has summoned the Russian ambassador to Bucharest to protest the November 11 national airspace breach after recovered drone fragments “offered irrefutable proof of Russian origin”, the foreign ministry said on Friday.

Romania’s defence ministry said earlier this week that suspected drone fragments were found 5 km (3.2 miles) inside its territory following a Russian attack on Ukrainian Danube river ports.
