All carparks in the tourist area of Protaras will be open free of charge until March 31, 2026, the Paralimni-Dherynia municipality announced on Thursday.

The decision was taken to facilitate visitors during the winter season, help strengthen the local economy and promote Protaras as a year-round destination.

The municipality said it would continue to promote actions that encouraged and facilitated visitors.
