Two people were hospitalised on Thursday evening after being trapped in their vehicle following an accident in Paphos.

The fire brigade was notified of the accident at 7.05pm and sent a rescue vehicle to release the trapped passengers.

Both people were placed on stretchers and handed over to the ambulance service.

They are being treated at Paphos general hospital.
