Very soon, the whole world will celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8. Several exciting events are coming up in Cyprus to mark the occasion and in downtown Nicosia, Nostalgia Parties team up with Yfantourgeio the Workplace for a daytime disco party for women.

“On March 8 we celebrate International Women’s Day,” say organisers. “We celebrate the women, the icons, the drama, the dancing, the singing-into-your-drink moments.

“A daytime disco for the divas,” they add. “For the ones who still know the lyrics. For the ones who just want to dance in a room full of women and femininities, and feel free.”

The party starts at 3pm and until 8pm DJ WonderLu will blast nostalgic bangers and sing-along tunes creating a dancefloor that belongs to girls. “All women, femininities and femme are welcome,” say organisers.

Music hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s will fill Yfantourgeio’s stunning space, marking the day in a unique and festive way. “Bring your friends. Bring your energy. Leave with a full heart and sore feet.”
