The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation (BoCCF) is planning a new series of activities and events to mark the 10th anniversary of the Faneromeni Arts Festival (2016–2026), and issuing an open call for emerging artists, groups and creators to submit their proposals.
This year’s theme pays tribute to the past while serving as a source of inspiration for the future, inviting proposals that bring together culture, art, history, the Foundation’s collections and its museums into a vibrant cultural mosaic.
We celebrate our journey and shape the future of culture through a voyage of art, history and music dedicated to the collections, exhibitions and museums that inspire us.
Over a decade of initiatives, collaborations and inspired moments, our Festival has evolved into a bearer of cultural identity; a living dialogue between art, tradition and contemporary expression.
This year’s theme seeks to honour this journey, focusing on the elements that connect us:
- art as a bridge of communication
- history as memory and inspiration
- the Cypriot dimension of the collections and the Foundation’s museums as custodians of our cultural heritage
- the integration of tradition with contemporary technology
Submission of proposals: by April 3, 2026
Faneromeni Arts Festival #Faneromeni ’26
Owing to the Festival’s multi-dimensional character, proposals for performances can include all art forms, including theatre, music, dance, performance art and others.
Performances for the Faneromeni ’26 Festival will take place at the Amphitheatre of the Cultural Foundation of the Bank of Cyprus.
Events Series #Moments at the Museum ’26
The aim of these events, which will take place at the BoCCF’s two Museums, is to offer the public the opportunity to explore the culture of Cyprus from a different perspective, gaining new experiences through engagement with exhibits from the Museums’ collections. Musical, theatrical and other performances, poetry evenings, activities for children and much more will be hosted at the Museums, providing a distinctive journey of knowledge and interaction.
