Two fires were reported overnight in Nicosia.

At around midnight, the police were notified of a fire in a house in Yeri, property of a 33-year-old man.

The house was totally destroyed in the fire.

At around 1.40am, a fire in a car in Peristerona was reported.

The car, belonging to a 35-year-old woman, was also totally destroyed.

Police investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
