A total of 39 flights to and from Larnaca airport were cancelled on Sunday, with the conflict in the Middle East rolling into its second full week. Paphos airport, however, is to run a full complement of flights.
Exactly 21 arrivals and 18 departures were cancelled on the day, with all flights originating in or destined for countries in the Middle East, including Israel, Qatar, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates.
With all of Paphos airport’s Sunday flights originating in or destined for either continental Europe or the United Kingdom, it was unaffected by conflict-induced cancellations.
