Another repatriation flight carrying 82 passengers from Cyprus and other European Union nationals arrived at Larnaca airport on Tuesday.
According to available flight data, the Cyprus Airways aircraft departed from Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd airport in Dammam and safely landed in Larnaca at around 5pm.
On board of the flight were Cypriots, Cypriot residents and European citizens who were stranded in countries in the region including Bahrain, Kuwait and Quatar.

The foreign ministry has issued a statement thanking the Saudi Arabian authorities for their cooperation, support and ongoing efforts.
The repatriation flight on Tuesday is part of the government’s efforts to ensure the safe return of Cypriots from regions in the Middle East amid the ongoing conflict between Israel, the United States, and Iran.
Several flights carrying Cypriots and other residents of Cyprus have departed from Dubai in recent days, bringing the total number of repatriated passengers to above 500.
