The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) on Thursday announced that it has accepted the listing of 50,000 new treasury bills issued by the Republic of Cyprus following a successful auction on March 16, 2026.
These 13-week treasury bills belong to the third issue of Series 2026 and cover the period from March 20, 2026, to June 19, 2026.
Each of the individual securities carries a nominal value of €1000, resulting in a total issuance value of €50,000,000.
“The Cyprus Stock Exchange announces that it has accepted the introduction to the Exchange in accordance with Article 58(1) of the Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange Laws,” the Cyprus Stock Exchange stated in an official announcement.
The exchange further confirmed that it has approved the simultaneous entry of these bills into the Central Depository and Central Registry.
The formal date of issuance for this specific series of government debt is March 20, 2026.
Investors and market participants can identify the securities on the bond market using the trading code TB13C26.
The unique ISIN code assigned to this particular series of treasury bills is CY0241430814.
“The treasury bills in question do not bear interest,” the stock exchange clarified regarding the yield structure of the short-term debt.
Trading for these new government securities is scheduled to commence on Friday, March 20, 2026.
