A 68-year-old man is in critical condition after colliding with another car, driven by a 27-year-old in Paphos on Wednesday morning.

According to the police, the incident occurred at around 7.30am, injuring the man as well as two passengers aged 31 and 39.

The man was seriously injured and has since been transferred to Nicosia general hospital where he remains for treatment at the intensive care unit. 

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the accident are ongoing.
