Police are investigating the damage to Elam candidate Evgenios Chamboullas’ Limassol office after a glass display case was broken by stones early on Wednesday.

Officers examined the offices following the reports received in the morning and confirmed the damage.

The incident has been classified as malicious damage.

Elam called on the authorities to investigate the case promptly and bring those responsible to justice.

Chamboullas condemned the attack, saying such actions have no place in a democratic society.
