The fire brigade responded to 121 calls related to Easter bonfires over a five-day period, authorities said on Monday.
In a statement, the fire brigade said the incidents occurred between 6am on April 9 and 6am on April 14, during which it handled a total of 299 calls for assistance.
Of these, 226 concerned fires, 61 were special service calls and 12 were false alarms.
The brigade noted that more than half of the fire-related incidents – 121 in total – were linked to traditional Easter bonfires.
Focusing on the last 24-hour period, from 6am on April 13 to 6am on April 14, the fire brigade said it responded to 37 calls, including 27 fires, eight special service incidents and two false alarms.
