Fuel prices may drop slightly, possibly as early as Wednesday or Thursday, Consumer Protection Service director Constantinos Karayiorgis said on Wednesday.
Karayiorgis pointed out that this was a complicated sector that was “largely affected by external and geopolitical factors”.
However, taking into consideration the course of fuel prices worldwide, “it appears that over the next days there will be moderate reductions in fuel prices, mainly unleaded 95”.
These reductions are expected “possibly even today or tomorrow”.
Karayiorgis urged consumers to choose petrol stations with the lowest prices as there were significant fluctuations.
