Limassol municipality affirmed on Tuesday that it will proceed with scheduled asphalt paving on major roads, with temporary traffic restrictions expected.
In its statement, the municipality said the works form part of the “ongoing upgrade and maintenance of the road network”.
As part of the programme, paving will take place on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue on May 1, between Serifou Street and Symis Street.
Further works are scheduled for May 3 on Archbishop Makarios III Street, covering the section from the junction with Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue to Digeni Akrita Street.
The municipality said traffic arrangements will be affected during the works and called on the public to “comply with road signs”.
It added that the interventions aim to improve road conditions and safety, apologising for any inconvenience caused.
