Firefighters are battling a blaze in the Pentakomo area of Limassol, where around six acres of dry grass, wild vegetation, trees and refuse have been burned police said on Thursday.

The fire service said five fire engines from Vasiliko and Limassol stations are at the scene.

Crews have also protected a nearby house from the flames.
