Deputy Shipping Minister Marina Hadjimanoli travels to London on Monday to attend an event to promote the Cypriot maritime and shipping industry.

The event, organised by the deputy ministry at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), will be attended by IMO secretary-general Arsenio Domínguez and representatives of IMO member states.

Hadjimanoli will also be meeting with president of Saudi Arabia’s transport general authority Fawaz Al-Sahli, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the shipping sector.

The deputy minister is also expected to meet with representatives of shipping companies, as part of efforts to expand collaboration and promote the Cypriot ship registry.
