The met department on Tuesday issued a yellow weather warning for temperatures climbing to around 40 degrees Celsius and above for Wednesday.

The weaning will be in place from 2pm to 4.30pm.

The met office also advised the public to refrain from practical activities exposing themselves to “meterological risks” and demonstrate overall caution regarding the prevailing weather conditions.
