The Chinese embassy on Thursday handed over a donation of €3,000 to support the humanitarian work of the Cyprus Red Cross.

“The generous donation of the embassy of the People’s Republic of China constitutes a substantial reinforcement of the humanitarian work of the Cyprus Red Cross and of our effort to be daily next to those in need,” said President of the Cyprus Red Cross, Fotini Papadopoulou

The donation was delivered by the Chinese ambassador Yang Yundong during a meeting at the Red Cross headquarters, in Nicosia.
