When the Covid-19 pandemic first hit the world in 2020, city dwellers suddenly found they had to avoid subways and buses for fear of infection. This meant a huge surge in purchasing and travelling by bike.

The problem was, of course, that not every urban space was set up to accommodate travelling in this otherwise green, and non-polluting mode.

This video, recorded in London last year, looks at the challenges to adapting cities for more bicycle use, and the positive repercussions on residents’ health and wallet.
