Cyprus police is looking for Erkan Osbay, aged 40, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and injury to another man.

Osbay, originally from Turkey, is a permanent resident of Cyprus.

The man is suspected of attacking a 41-year-old man with a kitchen knife and causing his serious injury in the stomach at 8.15pm on Thursday. The victim underwent an operation in Larnaca general hospital and he is currently out of danger.
