A 36-year-old man was remanded for eight days on Thursday on suspicion of cocaine possession, drug dealing and money laundering in Limassol.
He was arrested as part of a Limassol drug squad operation at a village on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the man was spotted leaving two plastic bags of 202 grammes of cocaine at a specific place.
Officers carried out a search in the suspect’s car, where they found three packages with 210 grammes of cocaine, four mobile phones, €11,545 in cash as well as 955 Turkish lira (about 95 euros).
Limassol drug squad confiscated the items as evidence and continues investigation into the case.
