Two men are under arrest in connection with two separate drug cases, one in Nicosia and the second in Larnaca.

In Nicosia, police arrested a 28-year-old man who was carrying two kilos of cannabis in his car late on Thursday.

Drug squad officers stopped the man for checks a few minutes before 8pm on Thursday following a tip-off.

They found two plastic bags containing approximately two kilos of cannabis and a spoon with white powder, believed to be cocaine, among other things.

Meanwhile, Larnaca police confiscated a kilo of cannabis following a tip-off on Thursday.

The cannabis was found in a plastic bag in an open space.

Investigations connected a man, aged 28, with the case.

He was arrested while Larnaca drug squad continue investigations
