Voting booklets for new voters have been prepared and will soon be distributed to the competent community leaders, it was announced on Saturday.
Residents who have registered to vote in this year’s presidential elections can pick up their booklets as of Thursday from community leaders.
Those who neglect to request their voter registration booklet in time will still be able to turn up even on election day to collect them.
For residents to be able to vote in the coming presidential elections in February, they must be registered on the electoral roll and present their booklet or their ID card.
