Two 14-year-olds were arrested after attacking police officers with stones in Limassol on Friday.
Police arrived around 9pm in the Yermasoyia area, responding to reports of teenagers setting fire to garbage bins in the riverbed.

As the officers approached, they were attacked by teenagers hurling stones.

No injuries were reported, but a police vehicle was damaged. The fires were later extinguished by the Fire Department.

Two of the teenagers involved were arrested at the scene and taken to the Limassol police station, where they were questioned in the presence of their parents, a lawyer, and a child welfare officer.

Arrest warrants were issued for the 14-year-olds, who were taken into custody to assist with the ongoing investigation.
