Defence Minister Vasilis Palmas, on Wednesday attended the international defence and security exhibition “Defea 2025” in Athens.

His presence marks a strategic move by Cyprus to strengthen its global presence in the defence sector. The ministry of defence, together with domestic defence companies, is participating with a dedicated national stand.

At the stand, visitors are given an overview of the technological and operational strengths of Cypriot firms. Information is also available on Cyprus’ participation in international cooperation programmes related to defence, research, and innovation.

The exhibition, which concludes on May 8, brings together governments, industry leaders, and experts from around the world. It provides an opportunity to deepen international cooperation, promote innovative solutions, and exchange expertise across borders.
