Tsiakkas taste and match
When it comes to creating memorable events, few venues can compete with the natural beauty and sophistication of a winery. They offer a unique combination of breathtaking views, world-class wines and elegant settings. Hosting events opens up several key opportunities to both grow business and enhance customer experience.
Tsiakkas is a standout winery among the few that organise events, and the Tsiakkas family has invested heavily both in the vineyards and in refurbishing the winery to turn it into a great venue.
At a recent event for trade partners we enjoyed a complete experience, tasting their portfolio as wine lovers too. The winery split the wines according to style and paired them with certain street foods. The Tsiakkas team’s proposals were spot on. Barmen also served cocktails, including a Tsiakkas Negroni with the addition of Zivania and Commandaria; a hit!
The winery was founded by Costas and Marina Tsiakkas in 1988, outside Pelendri village. Since then, it has gorwn, and now produces 200,000 bottles with fruit sourced from 18ha of private and partner vineyards. Many of these vineyards are planted at altitudes of up to 1,500 meters among pine wood forests on steep slopes. And it is not only the winery that got bigger, the quality, the production and the family did too.
