The University of Cyprus MBA Programme successfully hosted the international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “Ethical Considerations in Business” over June 2-6, 2025. Students and faculty from Hungary (Eötvös Loránd University), Romania (Bucharest University of Economic Studies) and Cyprus, participated in a vibrant week of interdisciplinary learning, corporate engagement and cultural exchange.
This Erasmus+ initiative focused on the growing importance of ethics in modern business environments, offering participants a unique blend of theoretical knowledge, real-world case studies and practical experiences. The BIP featured a rich itinerary of lectures, company visits, interactive discussions and cultural excursions, highlighting topics such as corporate governance, diversity, artificial intelligence ethics, environmental responsibility and ethical leadership.

Participants also engaged in a company visit to PwC Cyprus’ Experience Centre in Nicosia, and a tech field trip to XM Company in Limassol, gaining firsthand insights into how leading firms address ethical challenges in practice.
Cultural and networking activities
In addition to academic sessions, the BIP included immersive experiences such as a private cruise to the Blue Lagoon, Cape Greco, a visit to the Kourion Archaeological Site, and traditional Cypriot dinners in Liopetri and Limassol, fostering intercultural dialogue and lasting connections among students and staff.
