Further installations of smart meters will be carried out in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paralimni in Paphos as of Tuesday, the Cyprus Electricity Authority (EAC) announced.

In Nicosia the EAC will carry out its works in the areas of Aglantzia – Pallouriotissa, west of Famagusta Avenue, Andreas Zakos and Ilarionos to the BATA roundabout, the area between Famagusta Avenue, Andreas Zakos, Ilarionos, Kantara, Ayios Andreou, Salaminos and John Kennedy, on either side of Kantara, Ayios Andreas and Pouliou Kapota Street, as well as on either side of John Kennedy Street.

In Limassol, smart meters will be installed in the area north of Pentadromos, between Makarios III, Thessaloniki, Gladstonos and Evagoras Christoforou Street.

In Larnaca, the area between Stadiou, Agios Lazaros, Zenonos Kitieos, Grigoris Afxentiou Street, up to the Akadimia traffic lights will be equipped with smart meters.

In Paralimni, installations will be carried out in the area on both sides of April 1st Avenue from the height of the Kokkinos Supermarket to the roundabout towards Deryneia. In Protaras, along the coast of Protaras Avenue, Cape Greco, from the height of the end of Protaras Avenue to the Narcissos Hotel.

In Paphos, smart meters will be installed in the areas southwest of the ”Stelios Kyriakides” Stadium, between Athinon Avenue, Grivas Digenis, Apostolou Pavlou, Ayioi Anargyroi, Spyros Kyprianou and Europa Avenue.
